Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Tibetan Spaniel Dog Breeder - Churchill, Vic

ANKC registered breeders of Golden Retrievers since 2003, Chihuahuas for over 10 years, and we recently welcomed our second ever litter of Tibetan Spaniels from our lovely girl, Panda. This is Panda's second, and final, litter.

Our Golden Retrievers are bred down from the canine love of my life, Crowlee Royal Flush CDX(Patrick, 1994-2010).

We breed only occasionally, from appropriately health tested parents, and our puppies are home-raised on our country property with love and care, and with an emphasis on appropriate socialization.

Our puppies are always registered with the ANKC (DogsVic), health checked, vaccinated, wormed and m/chipped, and leave us with a thorough folder of information and a comprehensive puppy pack including a starter bag of premium food, a blanket that smells like Mum, a collar and lead, puppy shampoo, treats and toys.

Please note that we do not send puppies via pet transport, we are in Vic and you must be able to meet with us, and collect, your new family member.
Emailed enquiries are welcome to Kelly at trulore1@gmail.com, or call 0416219313.

Breeder Questionnaire

Question. Do you health test appropriately (eg hip and elbow X-ray scoring, DNA testing), and understand the genetic issues that may affect your breed? Do you have sensible, sustainable breeding strategies in place to promote the health of your dogs and puppies?
Yes
My Goldens are all hip and elbow scored with excellent results and hold current clear eye and heart certificates from canine specialists. We have tested our Goldens since our first dog from 1994 and our current puppies are his 4 x Great-Grandpuppies. We have always health tested our dogs prior to breeding(hips, elbows, eyes, later hearts and DNA). My stud dog has a full, clear DNA profile and my girls are clear via parentage. Chihuahuas are not known for many issues but ours have their patellas graded, and we also do not breed with girls, or use stud dogs, that are under 2kgs in weight. We currently own two Tibetan Spaniels. Our older girl is show titled and 11 years old and we did not breed with her. Our younger girl, Panda, is 6 and has just had her first litter. Our Tibetans have clear eye certificates and have also had their patellas graded.
Question. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?
Yes
Our puppies are born in our lounge room and do not graduate to their outside pen until they are close to 6 weeks of age. They are held, weighed and cuddled every day by our large family of 6. They are well used to noise and other pets. Our large puppy pen has a play gym, a puppy pool, and a lot of stimulating puppy toys.
Question. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?
Yes
As provided by DogsVic, we have health reports from our vet for each puppy. Mums have a pre-whelping cert of health and a post-whelping cert also. All of our dogs are health certified as fit to breed. There is an agreement of sale as provided by DogsVic that is signed by us as the seller, and by the purchaser of each puppy. We guarantee our puppies to be healthy and request a health check be undertaken by the purchaser within 3 days post collection.
Question. Is ensuring that your puppies go to the right home a high priority? What type of measures do you take to ensure your dogs and puppies are going to go to loving homes?
Yes
I insist on speaking to and then meeting all prospective new owners. Visits are encouraged from 5/6 weeks of age and I also update weekly with pictures and videos. I converse regularly with puppy families. I do not send puppies via pet transport to people I have not met.
Question. Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes
We provide a thorough folder of information and an extensive puppy pack which includes our various forms of contact, and the offer of advice whenever needed, no matter the time of day or night.
Question. In the long term, do you assist with re-homing a puppy or dog if for some reason the new family are no longer able to care for it?
Yes
I always request that buyers approach me first to take the puppy back for rehoming, if ever that need arises, and this is also stressed in my Welcome and info sheets that I provide in each puppy folder.
Question. Do you offer pet insurance?
Yes
We have just signed up for the Knose Pet Insurance Referral Program.
