Preparation & socialisation

Q. Do you ensure that your puppies are properly socialised?

A. Yes.We are a specialist boutique breeder. Our dogs are not kennel dogs; they are integral family members, sharing our home and receiving abundant love and attention. A nurturing environment is essential for fostering confident and well-socialized puppies. Our dogs live with us, play with us, and even accompany us on various adventures and as a dog trainer, they are even used for work.

Placement & matching

Q. Is making sure your puppies go to the right homes a priority? How do you ensure they are placed in loving, responsible homes?

A. Yes.Finding the perfect home for our puppies is a top priority. We carefully vet potential adopters to ensure that our puppies go to loving families dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and forever home. We provide guidance and support throughout puppy adoption and offer training, care, and nutrition advice. An Expression of Interest form must be completed, and a verbal telephonic interview will occur. Only serious applications will be able to have a video call to see puppies and only visits are by appointment only.

Q. Do you have any of the following: conditions of sale, health guarantee or warranty, de-sexing agreement, a buyer questionnaire, verbal or personal interview?

A. Yes. All my Limited Pet Puppies will be required to agree to the following: Right of First Refusal. In the event the Purchaser for any reason or circumstance whatsoever intends to in any manner rehome the puppy/dog identified below the Purchaser shall give Thorenvale Cavaliers the right to purchase the puppy for a mutually agreed price no higher than the original purchase price paid by the Purchaser or to rehome the dog/puppy. This right shall be extended by Purchaser giving written notice of the intention to rehome said puppy, requiring Thorenvale Cavaliers to accept the offer in writing no later than fourteen (14) days from receipt of said notice. In the event that Thorenvale Cavaliers does not purchase or rehome the puppy on the terms set forth above, then the Right of First Refusal granted herein shall lapse. NON-BREEDING AGREEMENT I/We, named above as Purchaser(s) purchased or otherwise acquired the dog, as noted below, from Thorenvale Cavaliers on the distinct understanding that without written permission being received from the Breeder in order to change the puppy/dog registration status and provision by me of a current Breeder’s Prefix within 6 months of purchase of the dog: • Within four weeks of completing receiving the puppy or dog I/we will be provided with a Certificate of Registration issued by Dogs Queensland showing myself/ourselves as the recorded owner of the puppy/dog • The puppy/dog shall not be used for breeding purposes by me or any other person either purposely or inadvertently. • I will provide Thorenvale Cavaliers with a copy of the puppy/dog’s desexing certificate no later no later than 7 months from the date of birth of the puppy/dog. Should this agreement not be adhered to, or agreement for an extension not be reached, then Thorenvale Cavaliers will immediately be afforded the option by me to repurchase the puppy for a reasonable amount not more than the original purchase price and the puppy will be returned to the breeder immediately upon such payment. • I agree that I will not lease or loan in any way the subject puppy/dog to anyone without the express and written approval of Thorenvale Cavaliers. • No transfer of the dog shall be registered unless approved by Thorenvale Cavaliers

Ongoing support

Q. Do you offer ongoing support?

A. Yes.We provide guidance and support throughout puppy adoption and offer training, care, and nutrition advice. As your breeder is also a professional dog trainer and dog behaviouralist, you will have continued and ongoing professional support for your puppy/dog.
