Meet Oscar, a striking black and grey tabby with hazel eyes that glimmer with curiosity and charm. This resilient boy has been through a tough start but has blossomed into a sweet and lovable companion.

Oscar's story began with heartbreak: after being tossed out by a previous owner, he was rescued and given a chance at a new life. Despite his early challenges, Oscar is now thriving and showing his big, affectionate personality. Though he had scratches and signs of a rough past, he's now healthy, confident and ready for his furrrrrever home.

Oscar's favourite things include:

• Mealtime treats: He loves Dine, Temptation Spoons, Greenies, and roo meat. Breakfast is his favourite meal, and he'll clean his bowl like a dishwasher!
• Catnip with Silvervine: His ultimate indulgence; he rolls and frolics like a kitten when he gets a sniff.
• Playtime: Ping-pong balls, ribbons, and climbing the cat wall bring out his playful side.
• Cuddles in bed: While he isn't a lap cat, he loves snuggling beside you at night with his booming purr.
• Cheek and belly scratches: These are his favourite ways to be pampered.
• Oscar is a curious and intelligent boy who's always exploring his surroundings. He's vocal and loves to chat, especially when it's mealtime or when he wants your attention. His opera-like "singing" is both amusing and endearing.

While Oscar has come a long way, he's still learning a few manners. He's working on litter training and doing well, though he prefers an open, heavy clay litter box over enclosed spaces. He's also learning boundaries, like staying off kitchen benchtops, and is eager to please. Loud noises can make him skittish, but he's otherwise confident and inquisitive.

Oscar's playful nature can sometimes get the better of him--he doesn't realise his strength when demanding attention, so he may not be suited to a home with young children. However, he gets along wonderfully with other cats and would make an excellent indoor companion.

If you're looking for a charming, chatty, and affectionate cat who'll fill your home with joy (and maybe a little Pavarotti), Oscar could be the perfect match. He's ready to leave his rough beginnings behind and start a new chapter with someone who'll love and cherish him furrrever! Is that you? Submit an enquiry now and find out!
