Mixie and her sister Pixie were originally found in someone's backyard. After some getting used to humans, they were adopted together by a lovely gentleman who sadly unexpectedly passed away.
Meet Mixie, the adorable calico tabby who is looking for a loving home! Mixie may be a bit shy at first and can get startled by loud sounds, but once she trusts you, she will seek your attention for pats and cuddles. She loves to sleep in warm, safe places and enjoys the company of people who are home often, so she doesn't feel abandoned.
Mixie is triggered by the front door opening and closing, as well as other loud noises, which can send her into hiding. Her ideal home would be a quiet one and a fur parent that can help her to come out of her shell more as she has so much love to give. However, she loves playing with toys, exploring her cat tunnel and cat tree, watching from afar, and finding warm spaces to sleep in. She also enjoys being up high where she can observe her surroundings.
Mixie is not a lap cat, she won't climb on you, but she will come and nudge and headbutt your hand for endless pats whilst purring away. She nuzzles, licks and boops you for attention - but on her terms!! She loves playing & gets the hallway zoomies!

Mixie is a healthy cat who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Mixie microchip #953010002717773, source #RE101165). Pixie is booked to have a health & dental check at one of our vets to make sure she is in tip top shape to go to her new loving home.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
